Only a few know  about peptic ulcer, and that’s why we posted this.


What is Peptic Ulcer?

Peptic Ulcer refers to a corroded area in the lining of the stomach or in the duodenum.


Peptic Ulcer occurs as a result of excessive production of  pepsin and hydrochloric acid present in the digestive juices of the stomach leading to the corrosion of a part of the duodenum or stomach.
When the corrosion or wound appears in the stomach, it is Peptic Ulcer, when it appears in the duodenum it is called duodenal ulcer. The excessive production of acids is caused by the any of the following:

  1. Stress
  2. Worry
  3. Shock
  4. Over-dose of certain drugs
  5. Eating irregularly


  1. Pain in the abdomen
  2. Nausea
  3. Chest pains
  4. Abdominal pains


  1. Be happy
  2. Think Positively
  3. Avoid eating irregularly
  4. Stay from alcohol
